Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) has attracted more attention because of their dynamic topology, reliability, volatility, and high mobility. VANET provides a large variety of ubiquitous services and has become one of the most promising research topics in the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Moreover, it provides an efficient route between the network nodes and access mobile nodes route or relay data to the destination by itself. The main application areas of VANET are safety applications, Traffic efficiency, and many others. Despite this, there are a few challenges in VANET, such as provisioning of Quality of Services, security to vehicles, and individual privacy. Numerous Literature surveys were presented for the state-of-the-art methods of VANET. However, it is of paramount importance to ensure VANETs security as their deployment in the future must not compromise the safety and privacy of their users.
