Clustering is a method to group the nodes which have similar features. Clustering is a significant concept in VANET clustering, as it is very useful to cluster the vehicles which are moving at similar speeds. Mobility-based clustering models are highly utilized in VANETs. The VANET clustering uses multi-hop and intelligent algorithm-based clustering to improve cluster stability and efficiency. The clustering methods allow the vehicles to join or leave from a cluster anytime. Moreover, the VANET clustering effectively handles the dynamism and frequent link failures.
