Abstract:

Currently, with the popularity of cloud computing applications, the traditional way of evidence becomes outdated. Under the new forensic environment, it needs more ideas and means of evidence. Based on the analysis of cloud computing environment, this paper demonstrated the new challenges of the evidence in the cloud computing application environment. In the evaluation of the current new forensic technology, it proposed the method of migration of VM image as key data on the cloud. We carried out experiments in the cloud computing environment, and we achieved a prototype system.
