Over the past decades, the Internet of Things (IoT) revolution has dramatically increased in different fields such as education to entertainment, industry to home, and health to the environment. With the tremendous increase of crime incidents in the IoT environment, the researchers have focused on modeling the forensic investigation methodologies. However, there is a growing demand for the IoT systems to be forensic ready to improve the investigation performance while extracting the evidence from the heterogeneous IoT devices.
