Difference between Skymote,Z1mote and Wismote
Description:
Once the basic layout and working environment is ready, you need to import the RFID tags, sensor nodes or any other wireless devices that are to be connected and have to communicate over the IoT. In wireless networking and IoT, these are known as motes.
integrated peripherals including a 12 bit ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) and DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) Timer, 12C SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) , and UART bus protocols.
Tmote Sky platform measuring of relative humidity, temperature and light via sensors.
Inter-operability with many different IEEE 802.15.4 devices
Very low current consumption and fast wakeup from sleep
The implementation of communication and mesh networking.
Z1 Mote: MSP430F2617
MSP430F2617 low power micro controller, 16-bit RISC CPU @16MHz clock speed, built-in clock factory calibration, 8KB RAM and a 96KB ROM.
I2C and UART/ADC/SPI communication is available.
The Z1 mote does not require additional Hardware to program, just an USB cable, also you can use JTAG for programming and debugging.
Wismote: MSP430
Wismote is able to monitor any physical measurements in fields like environment, health care, domestics, smart building, logistics or industrial applications.
WiSMote embed an small footprint operating system (Contiki) an IEEE 802.15.4 protocol stack compliant with Zigbee and 6LoWPAN (IPv6).
