The advancements in wireless technologies make the localization system a significant research area in VANETs. The localization system offers the location information of vehicles to others to improve the efficiency of location-based services. The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a simple and easily integrated model to build VANET localization-based applications. Nowadays, the VANET employs IoT networks to maximize the efficiency of localization methods in which GPS is not available.
