The increasing vehicle density escalates road accidents day by day. The safety and driver assistance models alert the drivers promptly by using wireless communication among vehicles. The driver assistance models provide information about traffic levels, accident warnings, crash notifications, and parking services. Thus, the safety and driver assistance models improve the safety and comfort level of passengers during driving. Different VANET protocols and communication architectures are used for safety and driver assistance.
